A Common Misconception- Brand New Cars Are Perfect
Brand new cars paint are rarely in “perfect” condition when they are freshly delivered to the customer. Reason Being, from the time the car rolls off the production line till the time the customer receives it, the car goes through a lengthy transport. This also includes wrapping the vehicle in an adhesive film to protect it from damages. If these films are improperly removed they leave behind a lot of glue residue, and in the process of wiping those residues it could cause swirls and marring to the paint. Another reason new cars often come with holograms or swirl marks is because the detailer at the dealership may have been rushed and forced to deliver an imperfect job due to high volume of cars. Luckily this can usually be treated with just a single stage polish, the last thing you want to do is trap any paint imperfections with a ceramic coating so its best to correct this beforehand.
